(More customer reviews)I purchased this phone as something to use while I was home from Iraq since it wasn't time for my "two-year" phone with VZW. It came in quickly, which I will say for the seller and all-but the phone itself...ergh.
I also need to say that as I speak right now, the phone is dead, will not charge, and I have no way to get my numbers off of it. It doesn't hold a charge to save it's life, it gets annoying to hold for a long period of time (if it even stays on long enough without crashing whenever it feels like it.)
I had quite a few dropped calls, and when I purchased the phone, I was not made aware that I needed a data plan with Verizon, which was an extra $50 per month. That would have been nice to know beforehand. Also, you *can* cancel the data plan, but you can no longer send/receive pic. messages.
Basically, I bought the phone without doing too much research on it, but I'm surprised that Verizon would even support this phone. I did try the data plan out just to see if it was worth my time but not so much at all. I tried and tried to get even my yahoo to work, but I couldn't even get it to come up at all. The rest of the internet (browsing, etc) wasn't exactly much better either. I even went more into "town" to see if maybe it was just the signal because I was on the outskirts of town, but that was not the case either.
Overall-Please Don't waste your time on this phone if you have ANY intention of actually ever needing it for something useful.
