(More customer reviews)I got my headset with the intent to use with my iPhone for running. I figured I could use the button on the headset to advance songs, and take calls while I was out, since it's difficult to access my phone when it's in its armband.
The remote button has worked reasonably, it's a bit of a reach to get to, but I can click to play/pause, double-click to advance, and even hold down the button to activate voice recognition.
As a set of headphones or a hands-free unit, it performs satisfactorily. Sound quality is okay, but not great. The people I've spoken to tell me the microphone is a bit hollow sounding, like I'm using a speakerphone, but it was acceptable.
For outdoors use, the way the eartip sleeves are design, it really picks up a lot of wind noise, to the point where it drowns out your music. The eartip sleeves are really poorly designed, when you put them in your ear, they can pop *really* loudly because of the way they trap and release air.
To summarize, I think it's a reasonable set of earphones for $22, but it is not usable outdoors when it's windy.

(More customer reviews)This headset work great. It worked fine once i got it to synchronize to my PS3 system(some trouble there but not really). However there is a game, Metal Gear Solid 4, to which I can't get this headset to work for. It works for other games though. Great buy!

(More customer reviews)I have used the M-175 with our Uniden cordless phone (Digital Spread Spectrum) for over a week now. I have attended extended conference calls and various other calls, using the M-175. I asked the called parties if they could hear me clearly and the response was always positive. The sound quality of the headset from the user perspective is also very good. There is a volume adjustment as well as a very handy, mute switch. The headset is very light and comfortable. It comes with enough hardware to configure it to fit with a headband or an over-the-ear clip. Both modes are very comfortable and can be worn for extended periods without fatigue. The construction seems fairly sturdy however; it is all plastic so I would not be overly rough with it. Over all I would recommend this product, I'm sure it would work very well with a cellular phone as well.

(More customer reviews)I've been using this device in a major US city. I was really amazed how easy was to make it work.Battery is charged when you get it but they recommend to charge it for two hours.Works very well for phone calls, and good as FM transmitter.
-45 Seconds to get the devices sync first time(Literally)GREAT!. After that it occurs automatically every time.
-Good looking device. If you are fan of Blackberry it's great to see this product has they brand on it. Stylish, classy.
-PLUS!-Comes with a Blackberry Original Car Charger (that's about $20 on its own!!)
-Works great as hands free device. Its built-in Mic and Speaker work really good, loud and clear both ways (I've been making calls with no problem either way).
-Voice Command Recognition is as good or as bad (depends on your experience) as the famous "Say a command..." application built in your blackberry phone. Nothing improved here.
-When receiving call, it tells you the phone number calling you, not the name on the agenda so instead of saying "OFFICE", It will say very rapidly: "Call: 123 321 1234" You can always look up at the phone screen of course but that wasn't the point.
-F.M. Transmitter is ok. I guess there are too many radio stations and too powerful where I live but even Sync with new radio stations is easy, takes you one by one up or down as you please with no problem. Never CD clarity but good enough to play your music files or even PANDORA from your phone to this device to your car radio.
-Good long lasting battery life. I use it about 3 hours a day with no re-charges between. I don't know whats the max. it gives since a leave it charging over night but remember you can use your car charger and use this device at the same time with no disruptions.
-WARNING! Clip Sucks!!! One and Only complaint. It is primitive. Somehow Fragile. Comes out of the device too easily too often (even while driving). MY car visor is very standard, original, medium size car but still. I'm afraid this device could suddenly droop and get damage or disrupt my driving. BAD ENGINEERING CLIP DESIGN!

I ordered the Blue Ant X5i from Shopcell - an Amazon market place vendor. While the product was delivered promptly enough, alas - it wouldn't even switch on.
My first step was to call "BLUEANT" customer support (North America) . After a moderate wait I was able to get a live support rep. We went over diagnostics, but within the first minute of the call, his question was "How much did you pay for this product?"..When I answered $30 on Amazon.com - his response was " Must have been refurbished! - send it back to the seller!!"....When I mentioned the description says - brand new and it arrived in new packaging his answer didn't change.
At this point - it became pretty obvious that he'd lost all interest in the call and wanted to just get me off the phone...
Then I asked about their product warranty - I even have a product warranty card - he said, "call the seller first or return it to them!"....
What kind or condescending product support/warranty is this - product support has no business asking about product price...
I highly doubt their product warranty means anything to them or - or even if they will stand behind it.
Their product support and brand standards are probably just like their product - substandard and indifferent
Unfortunately I can't give them less than 1 star

(More customer reviews)After extensive internet research for an alternative to traditional landline phone service, I decided to try pc free skype phone from IPEVO. I ordered a used IPEVO-solo from amazon market place (amazingly it looked new to me) and it arrived within 3 days. The box contains the phone and all necessary cables.
Installation: It is very intuitive and easy and it was done within a few minutes. It will prompt you to enter your skype id and password then it will import your contacts and ready to go.
Call quality: Most of time it is as good as landline and bottom line is definitely better than cell phone. I tried both local & international calls to landline and cells.
LCD & User interface: LCD is very bright and all menus are well layed out in the LCD screen. LCD screen angle can be adjusted too.
I would recommend it to others.

When that didn't happen, I needed a headset with separate plugs for input and output and all I had were a set of headphones that came with my Google Nexus One. After looking at several expensive headsets I saw this splitter that would allow me to use my current gear with the computer equipment available to me for a fraction of the price. The adapter works great with crisp, clear sound both on the in and out, though I suspect this will vary based on what hardware you use along with it. It shipped and arrived promptly, so I am overall quite happy with the purchase.
