I am a investigator so I used the bluetooth a lot in the field, I found the H15, as far quality, better then previous units, specially because of the size, the only problem I have encounter is that the ear piece of this unit is very thin and brittle and broke within a two months after purchase, I would recomment anyone who buys this unit to buy the additional 3 piece pack that you can usually find on most internet stores, it costs around 14.00 dollars,

Motorola H715 Bluetooth Headset Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this headset along with a complimentary car charger from the Costco over the holidays for $50. Price-wise, that was about as high as I was looking to. This being my first bluetooth device, I was concerned about lack of crystal clear sound and constantly dropping calls.
Pros:
- Ease of use. Click the dial to call the last person you dialed. Click again to end the call. Click the dial to answer calls on your cellphone.
- Ease of setup. Between 5-10 seconds for my phone to find the bluetooth. A little longer if you're responding to a call.
- The headset has a multi-color indicator that goes from red --> yellow-->green when its fully charged. That in itself is eye candy.
- indicator lights blue when it has charge-- however, fails to indicate how much charge is remaining. The indicator lights up either red or blue. Hopefully you don't find out during an important phone call.
- The device looks great and feels great. Very light and comfortable to wear for extended period of time. I wore the device around my right ear for most of a 7 hour drive from San Diego to San Jose without any complaints.
- no dropped calls.
Cons:
- The sound isn't as clear as it could be. I think this is very noticeable especially when you're driving, you have fits telling the other end to 'say that again.' Also, I wouldn't recommend going outside a 5-foot radius from your phone as there appears to be some pronounced noise.
- Noise-canceling feature seems to be more of a marketing gimmick.
- battery life could be better. After about 3 hours of usage on a recent trip, I stowed the headset away and turned the headset off by moving the boom to the closed position. Two days later I went to use it and the entire battery was drained. Remember that the lithium ion battery is non-replaceable.
- It does take awhile to fully charge. About 1 1/2 hours seems a bit much for such a small device.
Overall, I'm pretty happy about the size, weight, and comfortability of the device. The sound could be clearer --It's noticeable, but not a significant issue that should dissuade anyone from using this headset effectively.

(More customer reviews)I own and have sitting in a box somewhere a Samsung WEP 500, Aliph JawBone, Plantronics Voyager 510, Plantronics Discovery 665, Jabra BT500, the older Motorola HS850, and some Sony Ericsson model that I don't even remember. Crazy, I know. Also I have tried the Apple bluetooth headset (I have an iPhone), the Motorola H9 mini bluetooth, the Motorola slider H800, and the latest MOTOPURE H12 from Motorola. All of these have fit and/or form and/or feature and/or function issues that drive me nuts. The only one I ever use, and my favorite by far, is this Motorola H710 !!
Ever been frustrated because the volume of your headset was too low on even the highest setting, so you had to shove it deeper into your ear (defeats the purpose of 'hands free', I know) ?? Not with this sucker. This is the first headset that is actually *too loud* on the highest volume, so I keep it midway!! Wow. With all the others the first thing I would do is max the volume and never touch it again.
Ever gotten tired of holding down a tiny button for five whole seconds to turn your headset off and on? Join the rest of us. With this, you flip the voice boom open and it's on in 2 seconds; flip the boom closed and it's off just as fast. Brilliant. So easy. Have other companies seen this at all, I wonder? Can I sell this idea to Plantronics and Samsung?
Sick of gimmicky poor-fitting little custom eargels designed for f***ing Shrek or some other ear mutant? Yup, me too. Bypass completely with Motorola H710, and also skip the gnarly plugged-ear sensation before you step out in front of a semi truck coming at you from your headset side because you couldn't hear it.
How about accidental calls? Did the bastards who designed the Samsung WEP500 ever even ONCE try putting that thing in their pocket? Is it some sort of unfunny practical joke? I was blissfully unaware that I was redialing whoever my unfortunate last callee was over and over all fracking day long, and leaving like 5 minute long mostly blank messages (ok, maybe some rustling sounds) all over the place. The accidental redial call is IMPOSSIBLE with this brilliant headset.
GREAT HEADSET!! BUY NOW AND CRAIGSLIST YOUR OLD ONE THAT YOU HATE!! Oh yeah, I gotta run--craigslist awaits! Now where did I put that box full of headsets?

Obviously I have now updated to the Motorola H17 which is pretty much just a smaller cuter cooler version of the exact same thing!
I would now have to recommend the Motorola H17 -- such a great headset!

Motorola H15 Noise Canceling Bluetooth Wireless Headset Review

(More customer reviews)Don't you get a little tired of every bluetooth headset being compared to Aliph? I suppose there is a reason for that so I will get this part out of the way. Jawbone 1 was a brick on my head and no way to carry it either. Jawbone II has about 3 hr talk time and has fitment issues (just about any piece does but there is usually a work around). Anyways, they are both top shelf noise killers as long as that little thingie touches your face.
With all that said the H15 has the most amazing noise killing ability I have ever used and that would be quite a list of maybe 25 headsets or so over 4 years. My wife could not hear my radar detector (it's pretty loud, it will scare you) or door chimes or seatbelt warning (ooops) and I don't think any unit ever passed that test clean. But here is the real killer...wind...outdoors...only tested light wind so far but that would be enough to kill others. I don't test by cranking a 1000 watt stereo or putting my face in front of a chainsaw running wide open, let the lab boys at Moto do that stuff...I just use it real world and try to evaluate it. Moto has this one dialed in.
Fitment and alignment is very important for proper volume and noise cancel features. It's designed that way...It's not a ear ring, not supposed to just hang there. there are at least 10 combinations provided by Moto for fitment so play with it. I chose no ear loop using the alternate type ear bud that looks like they have 1/2 a o-ring behind them. Might not stay on my head in a boxing match but not too bad. This same solution worked for my wife too (yeah, had to buy her one). Stick it in your ear! lol Mine stays there and comfort is decent. It's recovery charge is fast and is mini-USB so it can charge off USB port from laptop or phone charger in your car, whatever
Tip: After I achieved fitment I could hear a very very slight hiss at max volume...1 click off that it went away. PLEASE don't read into this it has a hiss issue, I have to be in total library silence and listen for it. Since I am somewhat deaf I assume others will hear this after they get it fitted correctly. I have found I can use it at quite a bit less volume than other headsets because it is so clear. My truck has Flowmasters on it and I drive 80 on the highway and still don't need max on all calls...play with it.
Tip: You can always get a custom ear gel. Many people have done this with Jawbone II with excellent results but that does not solve the short battery life issue. This unit might be worth it if you can't get it to fit...do try losing the earhook...mine fit better with out it and so did my wife's The earhook seemed to keep pulling it out of my ear and killed the volume performance. Use the optional ear gels it comes with for this.
Tip: Just for the record I have used the H15 with 3 phones so far, Moto Q9H Global upgraded to WM 6.1 Standard. Moto Z9. Moto V3xx. AT&T GSM Network. Works perfect with all.
Close: Your mileage may vary just like opinions. I trust my opinion because it's scientific not emotional. I've seen folks run motorcycles into trees and say motorcycles are dangerous, but I suppose you could say trees are dangerous too. I think that's what happens in some of these reviews. So which is it? The motorcycle or the tree at fault? Or is it *maybe* the rider? H15 seems to be working fine after 1 week for 2 people here on my planet. Oh, and it's way better than the H12 if you have one of those. Also one final note, the flip boom is great, it seems to grab the call as soon as I open it, but it takes a second before you can talk...plays a little tone so you know. Haven't lost a call to voice mail yet.

1. Sound quality average not as good as plantronics pro ( I have not tried the blueant Q2)

3.twice the price of a blueant Q2 which has more features and better sound quality and 3 time the price of plantronics pro which has definately better sound quality

(More customer reviews)I was very disappointed with the Jabra Stone 2. From looking at the marketing information I expected something that would fit the ear and provide excellent quality. What I got was a product that was constantly falling out of my ear or fit so poorly that I could barely hear the person calling. In order to hear anything I had to push the unit into my ear and of course, since there are controls on the surface of the unit it was easy to either disconnect or change the volume.
I guess if your ear was an exact match for the one used to design the Stone 2 then the fit would be great. But if it isn't then $129.00 is an expensive lesson.
I have subsequently purchased a Bose Bluetooth headset and it is perfect. The fit is tight and the ear-loop is very comfortable while still putting enough tension on the fit to make it secure. COsts more but worth it.

Plantronics Explorer 233 Bluetooth Headset Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Plantronics Explorer 233 to pair with my smart phone. I have had it for nearly a year and have had no problems.
I went to the pool yesterday and left it in my ear when I dove right in... it had been submerged for about a minute before I realized my mistake.
In my frustration I threw the unit from the pool approximately 100 feet across concrete.
After cooling down (both from the heat and frustration) I let the headpiece sit out to dry. I charged it and the next morning it paired up with the phone and worked like a champ. Both the speaker and mike work without issue.
I know this is not the intended functionality (Plantronics would never guarantee their product after submersion) but the fact that it survived my beat down makes me a believer in their product.

This headset does a lot, plus a lot more. Let's start off with the basics before jumping into the Motospeak App.
The H17txt is a lightweight, attractive, and comfortable Bluetooth headset. Phone calls come through clearly, with no reported dropped connections while using it.
The advertised "mini noise cancellation" works, but not like the many noise cancelling headphones. It certainly helps tremendously when trying to hear a phone call where the recipient's reception is bad on top of you being in bad weather, or...in general. Feels like you are pressing the headset against your ear, except you do not have to do that because of the "background reduction" feature.
Battery life is said to be 5 hours talk time and 6 days standby, but what is useful on this particular headset is that if you want to turn it off, you retract the boom. This helps when you are in places where you know that you will not be using it for a longer period of time, but still want it on your ear.
In order to fit it to your ear, it comes with different size ear-gels, to conform to different shapes but also has a hearing-aid like band that you can loop around your ear. I found this to not work so well as it did not exactly fit as neatly and tightly as with the ear-gels.
There are, of course, various buttons on the unit itself such as volume and push to talk/dial. When you press the dial button when there are no calls coming in, you have the option to make this a voice dial command. Meaning that you can say "call or dial ". I am sure you have used this feature in other devices such your cell phone or GPS, but it works nicely, and I found it to follow my commands better than any I have used thus far.
This unit will also tell you when your battery is low and what the battery level is (by pressing the volume up and down simultaneously). Moreover, when you connect this to your phone the voice, I call her Grace (personification is fun with electronics), will guide you through the process of linking your phone to the device, while also letting you know when it connects and disconnects.
Now on to the fun stuff: MotoSpeak.
We know that this headset takes calls, but it also reads back texts and e-mails. For this to work you will have to download an app called "Motospeak" which has a free and a premium version. Personally, I loaded this on my Blackberry and this review will reflect that. First off, the difference between the free/premium are in the preferences. For example on the premium you can change the type of voice speaking back to you i.e. man instead of a woman. You can also adjust the e-mail settings on premium, whereas on the free version you cannot.
The Motospeak function is great when it is in use. You can adjust the settings so that it will only read what you want it to read, but by default it will say something along the lines of: "Text from

Motorola H720 Bluetooth Headset Review

(More customer reviews)I have owned an H700 revision B that was always difficult to pair with my Motorola RIZR phone, and I was never really happy with it overall. It was always flaky and finally died, so I took it apart to see if I could repair it, it's dead. It has a Broadcom Bluetooth chipset. My brother has the same model Revision C that still works and has been a much better unit overall. I bought both units from different vendors about a month apart, about three years ago at holiday time.
When I looked hard at the various new models I could find very few that sit against the ear, which is what I like. I strongly dislike the kind that fit in the ear canal. I decided that I would try Motorola again but I was really looking at other brands. Motorola has done a fantastic job with this new H720. I have owned it for about a month now and I really like it. It pairs very easily, fits well around the ear and the sound quality is much better. Overall I am very pleased with the new H720.
Buyers should take notice that the new H720 wall charger comes in MICRO USB and they may need or want to purchase new car chargers or MICRO/MINI adapters that convert to MINI USB. All my past Motorola gear (except new H720) has the MINI USB plug.
