(More customer reviews)Didn't work as advertised. I bought this because I have an excellent Plantronics headset that I used to use with my Motorola Razor cell phone. When I upgraded to a Chocolate 3, an excellent phone by the way, I learned that the Chocolate had moved to a more standard 3.5mm jack for headphones. I hooked this jack up to my Chocolate and tried to make a few calls. I could hear them but they couldn't hear me. Probably my fault for not digging deeper into the absolute specifics of the jack, because it only supported audio out, not audio in from a microphone. It was too cheap to RMA so I just tossed it into the basket that I periodically donate to AmVets. Lesson learned: even for low dollar amount items, make sure that it does what you want.

I would prefer to have some in ear rubber buds as they isolate better when you listen to music . Overall good product.

(More customer reviews)Normally, I can handle these kinds of earplugs, however, these are painful the moment you try to get them into your ears. They seriously hurt. I would assume the longer you have them in, the greater the result of cartilage damage. The worst part of it is, is the fact that in order to get them to stay put, you have to stick it in you ears as hard as you can; otherwise, they just fall out. If you can find an alternative to this style of earplug, then I highly recommend you do so.

2.5mm Mobile Headset To PC Converter Review

(More customer reviews)This is the only place in the *world* I could find this type of adapter. Radio Shack apparently used to have one (Multimedia Headset Y-Cable, 42-2428) but discontinued it. I tested this item with a mono cell headset (3 conductors on the 2.5mm plug) and a stereo cell headset (4 conductors on the 2.5mm plug). It worked with both, but with the stereo headset, sound only comes through the right headphone channel. Sound records identically on both channels through the microphone however. Using this adapter I could use my cell phone headset to both listen to music and place Skype calls on my PC. The sound quality of both was fine. This is a very useful item to save having to buy a separate headset for VoIP calls.

(More customer reviews)It's great for use with my MP3 player on my phone but when I use it as a talking headset with the phone, the person on the other end says I'm always muffled sounding. Great for use with Ipod/MP3 players though. The ear buds are comfortable at least and really do drown out the dogs and kids when you talk...if only the person I'm talking to could actually hear me, and unfortunately the person on the other end can still hear the kids and the dogs...haha.
