Pros: Compact, nice mounting system, plenty of volume.
Cons: Drops calls, tricky pairing, road noise masks voice commands.
If you are looking for a good Bluetooth speakerphone for the car, this is not your best choice. Road noise made voice dialing and voice commands unreliable. The HFB-300 requires an extra push on the call/power button to connect after powering up (something both of my Bluetooth headsets do automatically). Terminating a call or voice command requires two pushes of the call button timed just right, too fast or too slow between pushes and the call does not terminate. To compound these problems, the connection almost always drops after the first minute or so on a call.
So I thought at least I could use the HFB-300 at home or work... away from the noise of the car, and the frustration of fooling with buttons while trying to drive. Not so! Although the voice commands and voice dialing worked great, this poor excuse for a speakerphone continued to drop calls.
I figured since the HFB-300 was made by LG, it should work fine with my LG phone (VX-8300). I figured wrong.
Save your money and steer clear of this piece of junk.
