I had done all my research on stereos that work with the iPhone. I thought this one would be perfect. Here is what I have found:
1. the buttons feel very cheap
2. my iPhone barely fits in the compartment behind the face.
3. a 4gb SD card takes about a minute to initialize every time I start my car
4. did not come with a face cover to car the face around or store in.
5. the voice that talks to you when someone calls, etc cannot pronounce anything -- even the basic features of the device (let alone someone's name!)
6. the speakerphone does not pickup my voice very well at all in my car (have tried several different locations
7. having my iPhone stored behind the face is annoying and barely used -- as you have no access to your phone and you have to shut down the stereo if you need to pull it out.

Panasonic BB-GT1500B Globarange Expandable Cordless Telephone with Point-to-Point Internet Calling (US) Review

Ok, so we're not ready to totally cut the cord yet and go fully VoIP. We still want the local POTS phone service in case of (knock on wood, hopefully not) an emergency where we need 911. VoIP does not give you real 911 in your city, you get connected to some call center in who knows where. No thanks.
We were paying AT&T $15/month for unlimited long distance, which was a good deal a few years ago, but now with the cell phones we don't use long distance at home much. Only a few hours, it shouldn't be more than $5/month.
The Globarange is one of the only devices available in the US that lets you use your regular home phone, has an answering machine, and lets you make long distance calls over the Internet with VoIP.
I did not sign up for a JoIP plan other than the pay as you go. It is very reasonable, it's like 1.5 cents/minute in the US for long distance (and free to call other JoIP users; I am trying to get my family to sign up). I have a family member moving overseas this summer and it is only a few cents a minute more for overseas calls to him. If he gets a JoIP phone there, it will be free :)
The phone is easy to set up. You plug it into your router and into your PSTN (regular phone jack). I have mine hooked up to an Apple Airport Extreme base station I am using in "WDS" mode because I don't have a phone and internet jack in the same room. Works fine, no problems.
Voice call quality is excellent over both the VoIP and PSTN modes. The VoIP mode (internet call) connects very quickly. I have a high speed internet connection from Comcast (15mbs down, 1.5-2 mbs up) and have not noticed any quality problems.
The phone itself is easy to use (we came from another Panasonic cordless, the interface is similar). The answering machine works. It is easy to choose either IP or PSTN based calling (orange button or green button).
I would highly recommend this phone system for people who want to benefit from the MUCH cheaper long distance and overseas rates possible with VoIP but do not want to give up their regular phone service for various reasons (911, etc).
I tried the Skype dual mode phones but they are awful. The sound quality is awful, the phones are very slow to respond, and they do not have an answering machine. Skype is a great deal at only $3 for unlimited long distance (ie what they used to call SkypeOut) but the standalone phones are NOT ready for prime time.
I have heard there are issues with Panasonic/JoIP customer service but I have never called them.
The only downside of this device is you are locked into the Panasonic/JoIP branded VOIP service. You cannot use it with any other SIP provider that may have better rates to where you are trying to call. Actually, however, if you are highly technically inclined, do a google search for "globarange and asterisk" and you can manage this issue. Not worth it to me, personally.
Right now in the US there are no alternatives to this device. Overseas, Phillips sells a very well regarded phone line called Gigaset IP that has a dual mode IP + PSTN phone including answering machine that you can use with any VoIP provider you want. But it's very expensive and not available in the US right now.
The Panasonic can be had for $60-70 and the extension handsets are only $30.
I am very happy with this purchase and cannot recommend it highly enough! Get one!

Cy-Fi Wireless Sports Speaker for Bluetooth (Red) Review

Cy-Fi Wireless Sports Speaker for Bluetooth (Red)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I commute by bicycle several times a week for over an hour each way and was really wanting something to break the monotony of that amount of time in the saddle. I refuse to use head phones due to the dangers of not being able to hear traffic and other cyclists. The Cy-Fi works well with my iPhone 3GS (which supports the A2DP bluetooth profile) and has been a great addition to my commute.
A few thoughts and observations:
1. It is very light (advertised at about 4 ounces). Doesn't add any appreciable weight.
2. The mounting brackets (2 included) are sturdy and strong. They lock the speaker in place so it won't accidentally shake off due to road vibration. They also come in two different sizes: One for handlebar-diameters and the other for larger-diameter top tubes, etc. They are also easy to put on and take off in case you need to move between different bikes or other forms of conveyance.
3. They sounds is excellent and certainly loud enough. However, in heavy traffic you may not be able to hear, which frankly is what you want. Better to hear the cars than the music. No appreciable bass from the speakers, but they do play at a respectable volume without distorting.
4. Battery life is quite good. I think they claim six hours. To test it out, I used the speaker while working in the garage for an extended period on a weekend. After four hours it was still going strong. Recharging is only supported using a customized cradle, which means there's more weight and bulk to carry if you're going on an extended (multi-day) trip.
5. The controls are intuitive and easy enough to use, although pressing buttons is perhaps a little bit stiffer than I would like. The unit does provide feedback that a button has been successfully pressed by beeping. Pausing/Resuming, adjusting the volume, and answering the phone all work great with my iPhone 3GS.
6. I have not been able to advance or reverse the current song, which is supposed to be supported. Perhaps a deficiency with my iPhone (but I haven't done the detailed research to see if it's supposed to support this.)
7. I really like being able to take a phone call. When the device rings, the music is automatically paused. You press the answer button and you're talking to the person on the other end. They seem to hear me well enough, but it's not entirely noise and interference free. Fine for a quick conversation, but probably not for an extended one. (And besides, who wants to talk much when you're huffing and puffing on a bike.) When the call finishes, you just press the pause/play button to restart the music, right where it left off.
8. The company claims the device is water resistant. I haven't had a chance to test the claim, but I'm dubious about the claim. There are slots on each side over the speakers where water can enter, and the various plastic seems couldn't likely hold out water from extended rain. It should be fine in a light mist or if some sweat drips on it. I plan put some additional sticky clear plastic or shrink wrap on it to bolster water resistance. (Have to plan for rain when biking in the Seattle area.)
Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this product to others. The only down side has been not being able to advance or skip songs. (I'll solve that by creating a better play list.)

TomTom GO 920 Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator Review

TomTom GO 920 Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Edited 10/5/2008
I've had a chance to use the 920 for about 6 months of heavy use and here's an update to my prior review:
1) Mapshare really works. It's great to get updates from users all over the country. What a great idea.
2) Map updates have refined the product over time. I got the 920 when it came with the original 920 maps. Mine had the 1 year map guarantee, so I have now gotten about 3-4 map upgrades (I forget the exact #) and with each update the maps have improved. The application has also improved. The latest 920 app and maps include Lane Assist and Intelligent Routing which come standard on the 930.
Lane assist is like Reality View on Navigons. You get a very nice highway view with clearly delineated flashing lanes that tell you which lanes to stay in. So, if you are on a 5 lane highway and you should stay in any of the 3 left lanes, Lane Assist will clearly show you that.
I have not had a chance to compare the IQ Routes to non-IQ routes as I just figured out how to turn IQ routes off in order to do the comparison yesterday; but the new routes have served me very well in terms of minimizing time. IQ Routes take traffic data from different times and days that are accumulated in a data base and use that to predict the best route. This isn't very intuitive to me, since I would think that the Traffic function would do that better; but maybe this works best for situations where there are no traffic sensors or you can't access the Traffic features.
3) Cell Phone Traffic. Let's you connect the TT920 to your cell phone (mine is Sprint) and downloads traffic in near realtime. I have noticed lately, with the latest mapset, that it is predicting delays, when in fact there aren't any; but don't know if that's because the traffic conditions are changing and there were delays. It is certainly possible because I find that this occurs in construction zones. It might also be a function of IQ routes. I need to investigate this further now that I can turn IQ routes off.
Biggest complaints:
Because of the primitive data entry interface described below, I have found the need to use my cellphone's GPS function to locate POI's and addresses, and then use the TT for routing on many occassions. This is so absolutely ridiculous for such an expensive and premium device in other ways. It's really a shame that TT can't / won't address these issues.
1) You need to know the something about your POI before you can search for it, so you need to enter the city, or the route first. You can't just search for Grand Canyon; you need to know it's in Arizona.
2) Brain dead address entry. This is where Magellan and Garmin are worlds ahead of TomTom. There are millions of address of the form ##A### such as 12W234 and these can't be entered into a TomTom. You won't be able to navigate to these locations; you'll need to know a cross street, perhaps, but how would you know that? Why can't they fix this?
3) Need to know a City to enter an address. Again, an absolutely dumb idea. In suburban areas, a street can pass through multiple communities. Needing to know the City to enter an address makes no sense. Both Magellan and Garmin figured that out years ago.
So, while TT has evolved in many positive ways, it is still very primitive in the way it handles some basic navigation data entry.
Edited 2/14/2008 TT Home reported a new European Map available for the TT920. So, in the process of downloading this I have some interesting observations.
1) A distinct TT advantage, and one I really hadn't thought much about since my 920 is only a few months old, is that Map Updates are downloadable. With Garmin you have to order a DVD. For my i5 it took weeks for the DVD to arrive.
2) But even more interesting than that is that the new Euro maps would not fit on my TT920. It said I needed to delete 110MB to free up enough space, but I didn't have 110MB of stuff to delete. So, now I thought I had a real problem. What I found out is that there is a feature in the TT920 that neither my Garmin 360 or Magellan 4250 have.
Specifically, I put in a blank 8GB SDHC card into the TT. I selected removable drive from TThome. I then downloaded the update to the TT DOWNLOAD folder on the HDD of my PC.
I then formatted the 8GB card to 4GB while it was inside the TT. I then went to Files on My Computer and ADDED the new Euro Map to the 4GB SD card. I copied the contents of the 4GB SD card to my HDD. I then removed the SD card from the TT and reformatted it to 8GB on my PC. I then copied the the contents on my HDD that I copied from the 4GB card to the 8GB card and inserted the 8GB card into the TT
3) At this point, TT920 recognizes Guam, North America and Western and Central Europe.
4) The real impact here is that I can hold 10GB of maps between the internal and removable flash. This is great news. On my Garmin 360, for example, if the North America maps exceed 2 GB, then you have to split the installation of Upper Canada and Lower 48 US. You can't just switch between them, you have to reload the maps. On the i5, I can drag and drop upper and lower maps, but again, can't have both on at the same time.
5) So, the SD cards on the two Garmins I have really serve no purpose for mapping and navigation, whereas on TT the SD card can be an extension of the internal memory. What a great design.
As you are probably aware, with the release of the 2008 maps, Many Garmin units ran short of internal memory to handle the larger maps, requiring the splitting of Upper and Lower north america. This is far less likely to happen on TT920's. SD cards on the Magellan are for backup only and custom POI's.
------
Edited 2/9/2008 The i5 refurb is now $99. The Nuvi 360 is going for $249. Prices are dropping and this is very good!
-----
edited 2/7/08
Well, there is a serious problem with the TTx20's. This may be enough to take them off of your short list. I am debating what to do here. The situation has to do with address numbers. TT does fine with an address in the form of, say, nnn street address. Like 414 Janes Street. What it can't handle is any street number that has something OTHER THAN A NUMBER in it, like 55N123 Anystreet, Anytown, CO. There is no way to enter 55N123, because all you can enter are NUMBERS, not the letter "N". Now this might not be so bad, but I'd guess there are millions of addresses that either have a special character, like a hyphen "-" or a letter N, S, E, W, embedded in the street number.
Both the Garmins and Magellans referenced above, can handle the forms of address numbers that have alpha+numeric combinations. Others who have reported this to TomTom say that the problem is known, but there is no indication as to when or even if TT plans on fixing it.
So, if the TT920 didn't have that nifty Bluetooth Traffic feature, I would go with the Garmin i3... or the Magellan 4250. I can buy 4 i3's or 1.6 4250's for the price of 1 TT920. I should note that the TT720 has the same feature, but I got the TT920 for just about the same price as a TT720. The price has now gone up $90 on the 920 in the last 30 days.=======================================================================
ORIGINAL REVIEW
During a recent illness I think I read nearly every review of the most popular GPS's on the market. I also have had the chance to use
Garmin i5, 200, 360, 550, 680.
Magellan 4050, 4250
TomTom 720, 920
Navigon 2100t
I bought the i5 for my daughter, the 200 for my mother, and the 920 for me. Different markets, different needs.
After reading all reviews and using these products I have concluded that there is a cult-like following for GPS's. There's the Garmin, TOMTOM and Magellan Cults. Probably the Mio, Sony, HP and other cults that I am not following as well. They will banter and chatter on the relative merits and demerits of the various technologies. In the end, the following summarizes my analysis of the comments and products. Note that for the most part when you look at the distribution of Positive and Negative comments, there is almost always a plurality of positive comments for all units. I attribute some of this to the Cult-Status of GPS's
1) They **all** produce goofy routes at times, but overall work about the same. If you had the choice of either having any one of these or not having anything, I'd take any of them. One needs to acquaint ones self with the manual in order to get all of the value out of the products. They all do some things in arcane ways, at times, so it may not be obvious how to make it do what you want it to do. Even the easy to learn Nuvi's have some cryptic functionality.
2) None of the maps are 100% accurate, but all are pretty good. I don't see a big difference between products based on Navteq and TeleAtlas maps, considering all the chatter that is written about Navteq being better than TeleAtlas. There are probably differences in maps, algorithms, routing engines, etc. that all play a part in determining the optimal route, but they all do pretty good on average and badly at times.
3) The best value for a basic GPS is the GARMIN i3 which can be had for $100 refurbed with 1 yr Garmin warranty. The i5 is about $130, also a great deal. If you have expensive nails (ladies) it's nice because it has a touch wheel instead of touch screen. It also runs on 2-AA batteries... slick.
4) For simplicity, the Garmin 200 series is great. Rechargeable, Garmin Lock, nice form factor, fits in pocket or purse. Handy when leaving car with a...Read more›

I bought this phone for my stepdaughter, as she was not due for an upgrade from Verizon until August and the screen on her present phone was cracked, making it hard to read or send texts (disaster for a teenage girl). After about a week the problems started, which mainly was no one could hear her when she was talking on it. She could hear them but not the other way around. Also, it started shutting off on it's own for no reason. She can still use it for texting, but that's about all. I'll never buy another refurbished phone again. When she gets the upgrade in August I'm adding phone insurance to her plan. I've learned my lesson the hard way!

Works great on Windows 7 x64. I installed the UK drivers (downloaded from logitech UK website) and it integrates flawlessly with Skype. If you need Skype functionality, do not use the drivers from the CD in the box (due to some licensing disputes, it does not include Skype support.)
The quality of the speakers/mic is really good.

I use this headset while I am driving on freeways. I can hear very well and clear, and the people I spoke to said the sound was great and they even thought it's a land line phone. The boom mic is easily adjustable to speak, and the head band can easily fit over my head. Highly recommended!

Samsung Gusto U360 Phone (Verizon Wireless) Review

Samsung Gusto U360 Phone (Verizon Wireless)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have had this phone for a few weeks. I had to upgrade because my previous phone broke. I had no reception issues in my area before and now I lose calls left and right. This phone has extremely poor reception. I also think the buttons on the side are poorly placed as I frequently hit the speaker phone button during a conversation when I don't mean too just by holding it. I am taking this back as I really need reliable reception.

The item in the picture and its description is not what Amazon will ship to you. They must have the boxes labeled incorrectly, because the headset you will receive is a samsung compatible one. BEWARE. I asked for a replacement when I realized, but they shipped me the wrong headset again the second time. Returned both!

Motorola MH230R 23-Mile Range 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair) Review

Motorola MH230R 23-Mile Range 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
IMPRESSION BASED ON EXPERIENCE:
This is my second pair of Motorola 2-Way radios. I have tried other bands like Midland and been very disappointed, but Motorola has never let me down. I needed two extra radios for a fishing trip to Colorado so that my father, my brother, my son and I could stay in touch. I was amazed at how good these radios did in the mountains. At one point I was over three miles away from my father on the other side of a mountain and we could still talk clearly. Now I know 3 miles in not as far as the 23 miles range that is claimed these radios can reach, but if you know anything about how these radios transmit, then you know that for it to transmit clearly through 3 miles of solid mountain is close to a miracle. I have a pair of Midland G-300 Two Way Radios that claim a 10 mild range that cannot even reach 1/2 a mile through forest on straight level ground. I was also impressed with the battery life. Even after a long day of heavy use these units had plenty of power left. One was left on over night after being used all day and it still had power the next day.
Since I want this review to be helpful to people people wanting to buy these, I want to make something clear. The range claim that any 2-way radio manufacturer makes, is base on optimum conditions with no structural or atmospheric interference. In real life you can never expect to get those kinds of ranges out of any unit. Due to the curvature of the earth I would not expect that any radio could reach farther then 10 miles under normal conditions unless each radio is located in an elevated position with a valley in between, such as on either side of the Grand Canyon. So when you buy a 2-way radio, don't pay much attention to the range claims that are made. Just make sure that they will do what you need them to and don't expect a miracle that deifies the laws of physics.
PROS:
Motorola quality, great range and battery life.
CONS:
None that I can find.
THE BOTTOM LINE:
If you are looking for a good pair of 2-way radios for hiking, camping, fishing or similar, look no farther. If you are looking for 2-way radios for some sort of specialized professional use or something else these may or may not be what you are looking for.

The Motorola Talkabout MH230 is a great choice for nearly any outdoor enthusiast. With a powerful range of up to 23 miles, this radio is perfect for family and friends to stay in touch, whether you're tackling a back country trail or trying to brave a crowded shopping mall. The MH230 has more than exceptional range. Tune into one of 7 NOAA channels (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) on your MH230 for continuous local and regional weather broadcasting, and get real-time weather alerts to protect you from the danger of a sudden storm. The MH230 has full 22-frequency capacity with 121 privacy codes to reduce interruptions. Motorola's QT (Quiet talk) functionality allows the radios to be set so they can communicate with other compatible Motorola products.

The MH230R radio features flexible charging options for ultimate mobility. Users can choose to charge in the included dual drop-in charger, or use the mini-USB port in the radio to charge in the car or connect to a PC. For remote adventures standard alkaline batteries can be used when no power is available. Additionally, hands-free communication is available by using the iVOX speech-activated feature, which provides active families the freedom of mobility in even the most remote settings.

MH230R Features
Keypad Lock Lock your keypad to avoid accidentally changing your radio settings.
Channel Scan Use scan to search the 22 channels for transmissions from unknown parties, to find someone in your group who has accidentally changed channels, or to quickly find unused channels for your own use.
Charging Options You can charge the MH230 using the Motorola standard charging port (with the included charging adapter), the Drop-in cradle charger (also included), or purchase a mini-USB cable for use with the Mini-USB charging port, especially useful when traveling.
121 Privacy Codes Interference Eliminator Codes help minimize interference by blocking transmissions from unknown sources. The MH230 features 121 codes for superior interference protection.
Ten Call Tones The MH230 can transmit different call tones to other radios in your group so you can alert them that you want to talk. Choose from ten different tones.
Hands-Free Communication Use the iVOX feature to transmit hands-free without the need for any headset accessories. Once iVOX is turned on, the radio detects your voice and transmits when you speak into the internal microphone.
QT (Quiet Talk) Noise Filtering The QT noise-filtering feature helps to ensure uninterrupted communication with other Motorola radios, filtering out unwanted transmissions from other radios. This is useful in places where there is heavy radio traffic, such as amusement parks or ski resorts.
Talk Confirmation (Roger Beep) Alert You can set your radio to transmit a unique tone when you finish transmitting. It is like saying "Roger" or "Over" to let others know you are finished talking.
Weather Receiver Tune in to broadcasts by the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Weather Radio and Environment Canada Weatheradio. Both NOAA and Environment Canada have transmitters located throughout the United States and Canada, respectively. These transmitters broadcast watches, forecasts, and other information 24 hours a day.

TomTom GO 930T 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Traffic Receiver Review

TomTom GO 930T 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Traffic Receiver
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've owned Garmin's for more than 5 years and I currently own a NUVI 760. I've heard the great news about the TOMTOM 930 with IQROUTES, lane guidance, and the HOME feature so I decided to buy the 930 so I can give it a spin and compare it to the NUVI 760 with MSN DIRECT.
TOMTOM Pluses:
Arrival time -
The arrival time with IQROUTES are MORE accurate than Garmin's. The NUVI keeps updating the arrival time during the trip. I compared the arrival time from the start and the TOMTOM was more accurate. TOMTOM is constantly collecting the travel times and updating their database. When you sign in to the HOME program the IQroutes from your trips are uploaded to the TOMTOM server.
Routes:
If anyone writes a review about a GPS and states that routes are 100% accurate then they are lieing, I have not found the perfect GPS with perfect routes.
The routes on both the 930 and the NUVI 760 have been identical. With the 930 I see minutes left on the trip, time left, and arrival time. I can even tell the 930 what time I would like to arrive at my destination.I can AVOID any of the roads on my trip. You CANNOT avoid roads on the NUVI 760.
TRAFFIC:
I'm using traffic on the 930 through my ATT Tilt phone and it seems to work and it is accurate. It uses my Tilt to access the traffic on the TOMTOM server through the Internet. If you have cell coverage you should have traffic data.
MSN Traffic on the 760 is not accurate and the avoidance feature does not work that well. The bad thing about the MSN Direct feature is that it does not have good range. I live in Chicago and the service does not work in many of the outlying suburbs.
PLUSES:
Iqroutes are more accurate than the NUVI.
Lane guidance works in my area.
Avoiding roads on your trip.
Being able to correct street names, closed streets, one ways, and many other errors is a big plus.
Traffic works well.
The GPS chip has not lost reception. I've lost the signal numerous times on the NUVI.
More information on the 930 screen than on the 760.
TOMTOM minuses:
The screen is hard to see in sunlight.
The maps are not bad since I loaded the Garmin map look on the 930. I even have the magenta route line on my 930.
The battery does not last more than 1 hour.
The Text to speech does not work all the time. The street names are not pronounced as good as the NUVI.
You don't get the constant reminders that the NUVI 760 provides. Sometimes I don't think that I drive the 930 with my eyes close. With the 760 you can close your eyes and not miss a turn.
I cannot locate an address by ANY city like the NUVI. Sometimes the 930 cannot locate an address if it thinks it's in a different city. You have to input the surrounding city names to get the correct address and route.

Inland 87076 USB Powered Bass Vibration Headset Review

Inland 87076 USB Powered Bass Vibration Headset
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
when i bought it the name was "Anubis Typhoon Bass Vibration Headset"
it's the exact same headset in every respect(just do a google search for the anubis)
on to the review:
It's really a quite excellent headset for all uses, initially i purchased it for voicechat in games, and the microphone is very good.
the sound is very clear, no problems with even very loud sounds being transmitted through the microphone, top quality microphone.
now on to the interesting bit, the sound.
i was surprised how powerful the bass boost is, without distorting the sound.
I'm not into music that requires a lot of bass, but it made a lot of games sound really good, and it gave a certain feel to it when thunder struck in the game and the headset literally shaked on your head ;)
if you turn the bass boost off the sound remains good, and the sound becomes more "natural" but it's still a very clean sound no matter how high you turn up the volume.
that leads on to the only negative comment i have on this headset, on my system the max volume weren't very loud, it was loud enough, but there was a few instances where i would have liked it to go a little higher...but in 99% of the cases it was fine.
last point on this headset is how comfortable it is to wear for extended periods of time: this headset fits most people really well, and despite the size it's really not heavy, the longest i wore it without taking it off(long raid in a game hehe)was a bit over 8 hours, and it didn't get uncomfortable at any point.
so thumbs up for this excellent headset from me.

Samsung WEP210 Bluetooth Wireless Headset (Color Sent Based on Availability. Comes in Silver or Silver/Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
To start off, I really shouldn't be complaining at all about this headset: I got it on discount for 25 dollars then used a mail-in rebate to get it for 5 dollars. So, for that price, this is best headset in the history of man. However, there is one issue with this headset: the volume does not go loud enough. People I speak to on it can hear me fine and do not even realize that I am on a headset. However, I often have trouble hearing other people. It seems that even the loudest volume setting is quite low. I've used other headsets just fine, so I know its not just my ears or my phone. However, for five dollars this is a pretty minor complaint. If you are paying full price for this product however, you might want to look at some other headsets in the same range that have higher volume levels.

Garmin nüvi 2360LT 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Traffic Review

Garmin nüvi 2360LT 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Traffic
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought the Garmin as a gift for my wife and was thrilled about the lifetime updates for traffic and maps.
Setup and navigation is good. We like the big screen and the way the information is provided.
The lifetime map updates sounds like a great feature. Maps can be updated four times a year and the access using the web page was easy. But I have to wonder what Garmin considers "useful life" of the device. But even if they are only available for three years, then it is still cheaper than buying the maps.
The conditions of lifetime traffic updates are definitely not what I expected and the reason that I am thinking of returning the device. The ads that finance the lifetime traffic pop up on the screen and disrupt the navigation. This is obnoxious! This should be mentioned in the product description! I couldn't even find information about the ad financed traffic on the Garmin web page!
